Member Duties: The overarching goal is to build the capacity of Loving Our Cities by building and maintaining a robust civic engagement initiative that recruits, orients and maintains volunteers positioned and mobilized to address breaches in the quality of life where we live, work, serve and worship. Central to the efforts of the Volunteer Coordinator is the use of Volunteer HUB, a software system to track and report volunteer and partner contact information, skills, project needs and schedules to match them with opportunities to be of service with Loving Our Cities, keep them informed, and convey the organization’s mission and impact to the public. A successful volunteer coordinator should be meticulous about keeping records and passionate about volunteer work. One should uphold the core values of our organization while ensuring a positive experience for our volunteers as well as those who benefit from services of Loving Our Cities.
